Sure, Osamu Bin Laden isn't very strong in battle, but he's exceedingly adept at working behind the scenes. And I love him for that.

I disagree, his variety of techniques and tactics - especially in addition to Chika's contribution - with the Spider Trigger demonstrates good workable intelligence and stratagem, which is significantly more interesting than just an OP character who can just brute force their way through obstacles easily; sure, Kuga does prove it's possible to be interesting but there's always that underlying guarantee that he'll make it out fine thanks to his strength, whereas Osamu's lack of power ups the stakes, especially during the crossroads of fate when he was - by extension - a high value target and thanks to that he managed to score big time in the Rank Wars, finally adding a real angle of skill to his character.

But sure, personality wise he's not the most interesting but you've got to have a character that's, in all effect, normal to work as a proxy of the audience in order to expound things to, of which was especially required as world building was the main draw of the first season. And like in the first season, his motives for joining Border and further development to his character was dealt with in that season, which - whilst not necessarily a master class in characterisation - I feel does serve to make the viewer more endeared to him. So you, sir, are wrong on all counts and should feel silly

Ikoma's actually the best squad to watch as they're all weird and creepy guys
but can still be one of the top tier B-ranks while doing their comedy skit (especially Ikoma)

Bruh I don't think it'd be a big deal if Osamu won't be included in the expedition. Let's face the facts here, among all the Tamakoma Agents, he is the biggest liability during battles. Chika is too but she can now make use of her Trion factory to her advantage. In my opinion, Yuma, Hyuse and Chika would be enough addition and some Rank A's (from the Tamakoma Branch) to participate in the expedition.

Then again, Osamu is still one of the MCs and as much as it pains me to say this (unless he improves before the expedition
and proves himself useless) he is the weakest and a burden but it's still a fact that both Yuma and Chika rely on Osamu's leadership and they have faith in him ..smh
